Take a moment to think about the internet. It's huge, right? And it's made up of millions of colors so it would be pretty difficult to pick just one. But what if you took a deep dive to find out what is the most popular color on the internet? Would you be able to do it? Recently research brought us the ugliest color in the world, but Paul Hebert figured out which is the most popular, and the logic behind it is fascinating.

Spoiler alert: It is blue. The most popular color on the internet is blue, and while that in itself is an amazing fact, let's dig into Hebert's process a little. He created a script that went through Alexa.com and selected the 10 top ranked websites on the internet and then recorded the colors they used. The data is drawn from the HTML and CSS code so that the colors of images are not taken into account.
